CHIEF MOHAMED JARI MEMORIAL PEACE PARK

Nomad Green Belt Movement Executive Director planted the Trees at Chief Mohamed Jari Community park grounds at Kutulo Sub-County headquater through the NGBM agenda of planting Half a million Trees at Kutulo. The site of the old Kutulo primary school will soon became a modern community park.

NGBM design to plant Trees and the mission of the community park is to provide safe recreational opportunities through diverse programmes, facilities, open space, with the overall goal being improvement of the social circle and the  focus is to make positive changes in the lives of the people especially children  travellers,  and the Nomadic people who notmally bring their domestic livestock to Kutulo water point.

The trees planted will protect them from the dust that comes from the highway, which will give the residents of Kutulo an healthy environment or biodiversity and beauty of the vicinity.

NGBM team were delighted with the planting exercise and appeared on numerous events in both private and public institutions to reach 2016 target plan of planting #15Milliontrees to save environment in Northern Kenya and beyond.

NGBM will spare no effort to make the region greener, as we will enlighten communities to eradicate illiteracy. But without cooperation of citizens, it's not possible to bring improvement in the environmental justice and enhance the scientific management of forest cover.

We hope to see these Trees flourish over the next 2 years!
