Adan officiates the pioneering initiative of agro-forestry along with Nomad green belt movement Mandera
East volunteer teams.
Nomad green belt movement founder in his pursuit,
for mitigating food insecurity at Mandera County, after empirical extensive research, encourages and finds agro-forestry methods
which can reduce poverty through sustainable agriculture.
Executive Director inspires local farmers and appeals to youth
fraternity to sufficiently utilize the flowing River Dawa, the natural farm
lands along the river lines. By growing trees and several kinds of crops
together, best practices which shall increase families’ farm yields, their
access to food and thus significant impact on their income.
He appreciates the beautify
of hill views around Mandera town, in this regard dreams
of green hill tops with very attractive flora.
