Mama Halima Mohamed Jari
For, every good reason many of my friends eyes are wet while writing beautiful stories about my #Mother. Many of my friends proves how humane they are, by appreciating her efforts they earn themself a place in her heart.
Like a strong building needs a strong pillar you always need someone to support you; I have never known a stronger pillar than my #Mother. Whenever the cloud of stress loomed, whenever the shadow of sadness waved, whenever tears reached my eyelids, whenever my lonely heart was worried my Mum has never hesitated to ask, what is not right, she is what keeps me living, she adds sweetness to my life and she always makes me fall in love with life. Everyone has a little bit of sorrow, everyone has a little bit of sunshine my Mum would always shield me from any kind of sorrow and would always smilingly watch the ray hope beaming on my face. She is a symbol if sacrifice!
She is the only woman who believes in a peace, healthy environment and committed in Greening Mandera county and by extension the whole world. She is the backbone of Nomad Green Belt movement.
Mama Halima is part of women for peace, she religiously believes in peaceful coexistence between communities in Mandera county. She is independent thinker who always finds times to visit girls schools to give motivational talks and advice young girls so that will grow up to become respectable young women.
Mama Halima is a God gift human to humanity! We celebrate her!
May Allah bless her!

NORTHERN KENYA DEVELOPMENT TOUR PART III
I have concluded Northern Kenya Tour and have reached Nairobi safely and The #Northern Kenya Development Tour Part III is worthy.
There is no word to describe the passion to play small, in a settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living. Believe me, as a selfless professional volunteer. After visiting five Counties in Northern region; Isiolo, Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir and Garissa, I witnessed and saw the quantity of work needed through our ongoing movement. I shed light on the concerns I heard from local residents regarding the pre-post independent injustice and a lot need to be done. Every county and our nation "Kenya" must relieve the past and redirect all its energies into forging a more hopeful future.
There are enormous pressing issues at the moment. We must rise and intervene through dedication, commitment and love for humanity to get into action, to serve humanity and make a difference. To achieve the same, we sustain oneself for the life-long calling, which requires that we care for our vulnerable societies deeply, richly and wisely.
Thanks to those who make the #Northern Kenya Development Tour part III so beautiful, creative, thoughtful and memorable!

NGBM PLAN TO PLANT 15 MILLION TREES IN 2016
This year NGBM volunteer team target is to plant 15 Million trees. The Trees that can unite people all over the Northern Kenya region a build ambassadors a gardener and desert forest creater. Plant a fruit trees in your plot, encouraged, motivates your friends, neighbours, family and friends to practice and share the harvest with both 80 peoples of friend and family.
Let us preserve our culture and hold to its beauty to unite us together and refrain from tribal clashes that always causes environmental destruction when two clans are at war. Instead of putting together all our energy and efforts towards tribal clashes let's unite, create great lovely neighbourhood, green our desert region and fight climate change.
Develop dry land forest, plant a fruit tree, share the ideas, teamwork and share the harvest. Together, we can inspire the planting of millions of trees that feed our communities around the globe. Let's make this year count!
NGBM plan and goal is to give any households, individual and group/ organisations seeds, let them grow their food and then let them have it. Thanks everyone! There's no better food than the ones we grow ourselves
A food forest mimics how a wild forest works, but swaps in species that are edible or otherwise useful to humans and other animals. Imagine if each community park hosted a mini food forest!
Let's create a new normal where our communities are lined in gardens and fruit trees providing an abundance for all. Plant a front yard garden and start making ripples on your block!
Let's create a new normal where our communities are lined in kitchen gardens and fruit trees providing an abundance for Nature never ceases to amaze us. Let's take care of each other and this beautiful planet we share. Thank you for all that you do and all that you are!
We are thinking of organising tree planting contest. Which we will set a date and do everything online. If all members in this forum can share idea on how we will do that competition.
Join the team and plant a tree whenever you're and share the pictures please.
